She first got actively involved in improvisation as a musician and singer in 2003. Since then she improvised as a member or guest with several improvisation theaters, at festivals and on television. Freudenschuss has worked regularly with „hidden shakespeare“ in Hamburg since 2006.
In 2014 she wrote her first musical comedy show as a solo artist „Bis Hollywood is eh zu weit“, followed by „Einfach Compli-Katie!“ in 2018. In both her programs she combines scripted performances (songs, stand-up and stories) with fully improvised parts. For the last five years she has been touring through Germany, Switzerland and Austria and is a regular guest on German television shows like „Die Anstalt“, „Ladies Night“, „3sat-Festival“, „Pufpaff´s Happy Hour“ and others.
